Default recommendation from one of the OGs

- 94 dx coupe
- gsr fat fives (i know i need 195/50-15)
- daily driving only
- South Florida weather

I was just going to get the Kumho Ecsta SPTs because of all the good things I've heard, but considering my car is stock and performance isn't so much of an issue. Price is the number one factor with treadwear coming in second. I've been looking at summer tires online, what do you guy think of the Fuzion ZRi?

Thanks in advance

The Fuzion ZRi is similar to the Kumho SPT in performance as well as price and treadwear.

Would you have any opinions about a less expensive tire? Such as an all season like the Kumho Ecsta AST?

I've got the ASTs, and I do not like them. They're loud, grip in the wet isn't great, and they're LOUD!

I have the Falken Ziex 512s on my Civic (the other tires are on my Yaris), and I prefer the 512s to the ASTs. I know nsxtacy is not a fan of the 512s, but for daily driving, I prefer them to the ASTs.

Yes. They're nowhere near as good as the SPT or ZRi.

If you want to spend less than for the SPT or ZRi, and you don't mind a little less performance, the General Exclaim UHP and Dunlop Direzza DZ101 may be a bit less money (depending on size) and are only a small step down in performance.
