Default ** Restoring a 96-00 hatchback from crap to clean **

This car started out really ugly. My buddy bought it for $2000 with a B16 engine in it and crashed in the front.

Towing it from the sellers house:

Skip a few months. My buddy stripped the car to the frame. In the process he found an old, used marijuana pipe hidden in the back seat!!! Imagine if he would have gone through a border checkpoint like that!

Got it painted (lets just say the paint job cost more than the car itself)

Pulled out the old, tired B16 engine and dropped in a fresh 1.8

It just got wetsanded and waxed with some Allbrite liquid wax

All he needs is wheels. THESE ARE TEMPORARY WHEELS FOR THE PAINT JOB!!!! please dont hate!

What you all think?
