i'm putting a 91 bumper on my 89 hatch....the holes doesnt line up..the top hole on the bumper and the botom hole on the car barely line up at most.....i put the 89 buper on the 91 hatch and bolts line up perfectly...any ideas?

 

Your cars probably been hit before. Try and line the 89 bumper up again, i bet it doesnt line up...

Force it, the bumpers are fairly flexible.

 

to 89 bumper line up perfectly and is bolted on the 91 chassis....

 

if the 91 bumber is a crx bumper then u need the crx bumper support due to the cut outs where u would put the fog lights. other than that, snap a few pics of it so we can see the problem ur descibing.

 

try drilling new holes, that should do it man, iv done it before,good luck.

 

You have to use the inner support from the 91 on the 89. I did the same thing on my hatch and used the inner support from the 91 to line everything up..Hope this helps
