I just want to know what everyone think this problem is. Lets start, When I start up the car. After waiting a min the oil light blinks off and on rapidly. When driving it goes off. When slowing down it blinks off and on. Let say at the stop it comes on but, when I raise rpms to about near 2k rpms it goes away. Do you think its the oil pressure sensor?

I have a 94 civic vx with a 00' b18b. The oil was change 2months ago and I have put 2k mi on it. My oil dip stick is too long for this motor so that doesnt help at all. Im going to change the oil this week when I have the time. I went to Discount auto today and they said it could probably be the oil pressure sensor as well.

If anyone had simular problems before please tell me.

 

yea i would say messed up oil senseor or possibly ur low on oil. gte the correct dipstick so u can be sure where ur oil levels is at
