Default crank Pulley

hey there, i have a 98 itr with no power stearing nor ac. I wanted the ctr crank pulley only has a groove for the alternator and is 8 lbs less and balanced. would it be ok for the itr engine. im not sure if it dampens vibrations as much as the itr pulley or it would cause more harm then good for a measley hp or 2.

ok. never mind. i think this topic has been covered many times over and it seems that judging by what other people have said, it may cause potential harm to the internals.

Yup, you came to the correct conclusion. There are companies like ATI or fluidamper that have race pullies which do not have a spot for the AC belt. They are harmonic balancers and won't hurt your motor.
