Default 98 GSR SSBP vs 94 RS MR

Hello Fellow Honda-Tech Fanatics. I am stuck in a dilemma.

These are my options and some information of what's tearing me apart

1998 GSR - SSBP
Pros- SSBP Dope Color, 1998,2000,2001 are my favorite numbers for a year, GSR
Cons- Girlfriend doesn't like SSBP, has sunroof, heavier

1994 RS - MR
Pros- ITR replica (shaved doors, oem optional lip kit, no sunroof), no sunroof, lighter
Cons- Hate the year 1994

Don't take in consideration that they GSR is just a shell. I would just make the integra im not keeping a shell and transfer all the interior and engine etc.

The GSR shell i can get for like 400 bucks. I own the RS already. I'm just torn between the 2. I can either say i have a 1998 SSBP GSR, or a 1994 RS ITR lookAlike.

Just fill me in with your opinions.

Anyone know if that's a JDM Clip rad support?

1998 GSR SSBP: Salvage Title

1994 RS MR: Clean Title

I assume that the 1998 has a salvage title.

The 1998 has 4-channel ABS. The 1994 RS does not have any ABS.

The pictures of the 1994 show a 98-01 front and side moldings. Is this the actual car you described?

what exactly are you trying to do? what are you future plans/outcome for a car you want? to be honest i like the ssbp and the fact that its a gsr. but since its a shell, id have to say no.

Keep the 1994 then. It is less work, less weight, and worth more than a salvage title 98. Plus the 98 GSR will command GSR insurance premiums.

--- If anything, i'll buy the GSR and just sell the shell for a quick couple hundred bucks.

--- My car is barley running. Lol. I am tearing out the motor and rebuilding it. I have a complete LS.V set up ready to be used, but i can't seem to get a garage free for myself. Everyone else's car's but mine. And... the RS needs a serious paint job. Hood is faded pink, 1 black fender, waves on the doors from being so old and getting dinged up. It definitely needs a face lift. BUT, it is either spend money getting the GSR completed, or spend money getting my car painted and motor redone. But either way, 1 car is going to be complete. It might not look like it, but i have put alot of time into my car and it's gonna suck if i get rid of it.

that's answer enough.

Keep your RS, get it repainted ... and in the mean time, buy my JDM Front end since i'm in PA too

--- I'm not a fan of the JDM front. The only way i would ever buy one is if i get it for dirt cheap. Basically too good to be true, can't pass that up deal.

EDIT: You guys think it would be Ricer/retarded of me after i get it painted, put my OEM optional kit on it, and get 5 lug on it. To put ITR decals on the side and rear? I mean, if i am going to go ITR Replica out. Wouldn't that make sense?

i was, for the most part, kidding.... hence the tongue sticking out.

anyway, about the decal thing ... i wouldn't say it was ricer/retarded but i surely wouldn't do it. If you drive an RS, you drive an RS... no need to rebadge it.

--- I was thinking that. I honestly can not make a decision for myself. Everything is up to everyone but me. Like this post here is making me keep my car and im just going to buy that shell for super cheap and take the tail lights, rear valances, and window visors. Sell the shell and sell those parts. ><

Your statement about the badges, you made my mind up about that too :D

How about this...

What do you think about shaving front and rear emblems along with the front license plate holes. (PA = no front plates)
