Default Types of upgraded calipers to put on RSX

Hey there guys. Down here visiting from the Accord side.

I was wondering, I know some brake calipers from Acura cars, such as the Legend with it's 2 piston caliper can be put on the Accord rather easily. Of course with the right rotor size, brackets, and calipers.

I was thinking of upgrading my base RSX's brakes. Please don't ask me why, I just want to. Let's stay on topic. =P I might do it, I might not. Just curious.

I have a 2002 Base RSX. It says in the brochure, the rotor size is 10.3 and the Type-S is like 11.2??? or something. Can I swap the Type-S rotors, bracket and caliper onto my base?

Also I heard about TSX caliper fitting, how does that go?

What other calipers can fit into the RSX? Any 2 piston? With the exception of Brembos. Can TL calipers fit?

RSX-S front is 11.8" - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2133052

I don't know if the base uses an axle with smaller splines like an EP (and 32mm axle nut) or larger like the Type S (36mm axle nut). Check that out, could change your mind if you needed Type S axles.

the type s front brakes setup is a direct bolt on for the base. i just swaped out my stock type s brakes for some wilwood 4 piston brakes and the guy that i bought the brakes from wanted my stock ones and he put them on without having to do anything.

^Good to know.

Should also check if the MC or prop valve is different (utilizing the bigger front rotor).

Ok so, if I did go with the swap, I would need to have new rotors, and calipers, and also pads. Also the caliper mounting bracket. It seems like an easy swap. What about anything else?

I have the 05-06 RSX-S rims on my RSX base. My braking performance has lessen due to the heavier weight. I am thinking of this swap because of that reason.
