Default stop smoke in a can ?

Do these things work at all ? the reason i ask , is that i just bought a 90 Si hatchback and it smokes a little . I dont mind having to put in a little oil every fill up , untill i can swap out the motor . But it drives me nuts driving around town and looking in the rearview and seeing it spewing out Lol

You might be able to clean it up a little with a Top Engine cleaner (kinda stop smoke in can, but not). This stuff cleans the carbon deposites in your cylinders and intake manifold. It also sometimes helps to free up stuck rings. Sticking rings can cause smoking, but I think your motor is just tired and needs to be swapped. Don't waste your money, I doubt it'll help with your issue.
B18 anyone??

Have a leakdown test done....if its still good, then its probably your valve seals. Change those out abd you'll have a clean running engine again.
If its your rings, just buy a new engine.

your best bet is to just use 20-50 motor oil if its smoking. all that smoke stop stuff does is just makes your oil thicker, so just use thicker oil to start with
