91 ef coolfan not working after motor swap

oke i just swaped a motor in to my 91 civic dx and im runing a obd2 converted to obd1 d16y8 runing a p28 i noticed today in traffic that the car was over heating tand the coolent started boiling i quickly turned on my heat and blasted the heat in my car lol to cool it it went down as i drive it stays normal but stoped for 4 min it over heats ps im useing a full rad
there was some left over conecters a 2 pin one in the back of the block from my old 1.5 that was near the oil filter but i also noticed a fuze was blown so i changed it and still no power what can i do also can that plug be a fan switch also if so how do i wire it to work on my y8
