Why?
Why?
no, do not DUAL your car. and 3" IS too big unless you're putting down hella good N/A numbers. 2.5 is a decent size, i drive a friends car with 3.25 inch exhaust with nothing but a cold air intake and it drags ***, don't mean that in a good way either.

I wouldnt say that bigger is a bad thing just too much bigger is a really bad thing! I got 2.25 on my 96 and it actually pulls alot harder now... I get scratch in third sometimes and all i have is an intake and exhaust.
2.25 is perfect, i have it, it works awesome. If your boosting later then get the bigger exhaust after, or even an electric cutout, because if you get three inch now, you might as well be draggin a grand piano behind you, while retards in V6 mustangs blow you away. If that don't change yer mind, nothing will.
Yeah go BOOST! But dont do the exhaust just yet, throw a muffler on there (whatever kind you wish) and after you get "turbo`d" then spend the money on the full exaust set up. Do you really want to spend the money now for a 2.25 pipe and have to go back with 3 for the boost? save you money and just get a muffler for the time being.
If you work a Burger King just do the 2.25 because you will never have enough to get turbo'd and live at the same time.

just about everybody on here is says they eventually are going to boost their car, but maybe only 2% actually do. that being said, consider a smaller exhaust than 3''. As far as dual exhaust goes, that's really up to you, it can either look really tacky or pretty cool depending on how well it is done. Just figure out what it is that you want, but keep in mind, with dual exhaust, its just added weight, and more potential parts to fall off.
ill keep that in mind, i was thinking of doin the 3 bc as soon as i get the money together ima boost it.and i didnt want to spend the money on exaust 2 times if u kno wut i mean

SO WHY DO YOU NEED TO LOSE POWER RIGHT NOW?!?!?
youre going to lose backpressure and its ganna be a slug! Worse than stock!!
Wait till you boost, then consider 3" piping. If you choose to get the piping before hand, you're going to be labled as an idiot in my book.
There is nothing logical about that decision.

I got 2.25 because im not boostin until late summer so if its gonna be a long while before you boost then its almost worth it to get it done twice but get a quality muffler and you wont need another one when you go back again that will save u a couple hundy if not more? If your going for duals they look gay on Accords so dont... Civics look a little better but only with a body kit so as for that... I VOTE NO DUALS!!!
