Hello my fellow Honda-Tech"ers". So i have always wanted a rear fog light for my Crx and I never really wanted to spend 150+ bucks on the OEM ones because I am on a budget now that i am in college. So i decided to get some rear lights that my buddy had on his old Jeep Cherokee that he never used. After ten minutes of talking him into letting me have them I took them home and this is what they looked like.

I took off the brackets and got them ready for paint. I bought some KRYLON STAINED GLASS PAINT which i bought at a local Michael's Arts and Crafts. Pretty expensive for a little can. I payed 8.58 for it.

So got the light ready for paint. Masked it even though i don't think i needed to and then painted it. I let it dry for about 10 minutes. The finished product came out pretty good for my first time.

Once it dried i mounted it under my rear bumper. There are some holes already made in the bumper so that saved me a few minutes. I just grabbed a bolt and put a washer big enough in it so that the bolt would not fall through the hole. Once it was mounted it looked like this...

After connecting the rear fog light I turned it on and this is the finished product...

So what do you guys think? Pretty decent job for only 8 dollars and 58 cents? This is my first time doing anything like this so i think it came out somewhat decent. Let me know what you guys think.... Constructive criticism is always good.
If you guys have any questions about connecting it or something let me know. Ill be more than happy to show you how i connected it. Well thats my post for now.

to me the original pics look like you sprayed very very very heavy coats in the first place. i would have done it differently. for instance, removing the screws before drowning that thing in paint.
then again, i have the proper OEM crx foglight....

Yeah i would have the same center piece as you except no one has them and if they do they don't want to sell them. I really would go OEM rather than this type of rigged stuff Ha!l <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by STREETWERKZ »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

I zoomed in pretty damn close so it looks like that. It actually came out pretty good after the second coat. Ill take a picture right now of it at night....

Reminds me of this^. It looks very similar. I like your fog idea alot, i just think you should wet sand it so it's smooth, go get some 800 and 2000 sand paper and sand it, and after that get any polish or wax and just buff that **** till its smooth.
