want opinion on crank pulley
Just this week i had my crank pulley back off the crank while i was driving. luckily only the pulley was damaged so i sourced a replacement. I was in a hurry to get back on the road so I went with a dorman OEM replacement pulley.
I've got it on the car and it appears to be fine there's just one thing i am concerned about. The new pulley has the harmonic balancer rubber strip only on the alternator pulley, the P.S. pulley is inside that. Looking at the original piece that came with my H22, both the alt and P.S. pulleys were outside the harmonic balancer.
That said does anyone who might know about these things think this will be a problem? I don't want to wear my bearings out over something like this.
