Guys i can't stand it anymore, I can't make up my mind! I have a 94 del Sol VTEC ( EG2) ( B16A3), which I am in love with! It has I/H/E plus tuned on chrome and managed to squeeze out 150 whp. Its a high 14 second car right now. It has Tein suspension, Si Rims, and thats pretty much it. Right now it doesn't have A/C because of this little tube that broke GRRR. The paint on my EG2 is quite sad on some parts, and some dings. . .

The car that a friend wants to trade for my EG2 is a Mazda 323 '93 but with KLZE swap
We're talking 178 whp and some abnormal amount of torque I can't remember now. Anyways she has a beautiful paint job, no problems with tranny or engine, she did 13.7 @ 102 mph street tires, 13.0 with slicks. Shes a beauty, but she's also an A/C less, power steering less beauty. Also has no muffler or cat, just some pipe sticking out the side. Anyways. . I can keep my EG2 and work on her, fix her 3rd gear synchro problem, get that little tube and get A/C back on, or trade and get in a 13 sec. car! I don't know what to do!!!

What does a 323 look like the klze does make alot of power but if its your daily ur gonna hate it when you have to put gas in it a probe GT gets about 24 highway but that witha kl03 but it is the same block just less compression than the klze I believe its about 10-1. Also ill trade you my probe for it lol

 

make your del sol look good and drive it.... if you want more power find a shell for cheap and build a motor for that.... that del sol is kinda rare and mazda's are piece's of junk. my .02

you can get more power by simply getting cams and fuel regulator and a good tune...

if you don't want to dish out for new valvesprings just get type r cams preferably the 2000's... that should put you up nearer to the mazda... and im sure you'll feel the power boost through out the rpms...

I'm almost entirely convinced on keeping my girlie car. The ONE thing that made me think about it, was the fact about Honda being such candy for thieves. . . and that 323 is pretty much BLAH for thieves lol. Another thing is the fact that its a 13 second car with the engine STOCK.


And I Am addicted to my Sol. . .
