the threads in the cylinder head are stripped??

Best thing you can do is to heli-coil it. You have to drill out the threads, re-tap to a bigger size, and insert a new metal thread.

Get a 6x1.00 heli-coil from your local parts store

it's probably the nuts that hold the valve cover on that are stripped. mine did that like a million times. they're just 10mm nuts

Try and run a 10mm tap through it and see if it holds up if not then just drill/tap it to suit an 11mm or 12mm screw. just be careful and take your time.

wtf are you talking about? The threads are 6mx1.00

it's a single cam and the valve cover is held down by BOLTS, not nuts....come on people.

You're only choice is a new cylinder head or heli-coil really...
