Thermoswitch Not Connected?
Hi all,
My fan doesn't seem to be turning on, and my overflow bottle is bubbling and overflowing. I have a new ReadyRad Dual Core Alluminum Radiator (so know that shouldn't be the problem for overflow). My Crx doesn't overheat though.....weird. It has a b18a1 LS engine. See pics, because it doesn't appear to me that the thermoswitch is hooked up. If that isn't the thermoswitch what is it?
Thanks in advance

that is the cooling fan switch - just plug it in and see if it works - doesn't matter which wire goes on which post - it is just a switch to ground
WOW! Thanks for such a quick response! Hopefully it will solve the problem. I bled the coolent via the bleeder valve, but that didn't solve the problem. I'll keep all posted

X2 if its boiling and bubbling but not overheating you probably need a new rad cap

Connecting those connectors worked! Fan kicked on and it no longer bubbles over. Now though when the car warms up(after fan kicks on) the idle bounces and bumps all the way to 1500 rpms. When first starting it is great (perfect idle). I cleaned FITV and IACV. FITV wax ring was way loose. Tightened down, then backed out about 1/8 turn. Any ideas why the bounce when warm?
Thanks again

Thanks. Tried the IACV and when I unplugged it nothing changed. Didn't even sputter. Seemed like I didn't even unplug it. I know the coolent isn't low, Checked both the radiator and the overflow bottle. Both full. Bled the system again. No change. Weird. I checked the CEL code and it reads 14. Any Ideas?
Forgot to mention I did Reset ECU. Removed Ground for about 15 min From Battery. No difference
Thanks again
