UPDATE
LOCATION: Kenosha County
DATE: JUNE 14
COST: $10
Okay guys here is the update for the Midwest K Series meet i am trying to organize. I have set the date to June 14th. Now for locations i am deciding between 2. First being Richard Bong Recreational Park and the other is Petrifying Springs Park. Both are in Kenosha County.
Now i have set the location right on the Wisconsin/Illinois State Border to make it more of a Central location. Make it a little closer to Chicago so that i don't have to hear about how far of a drive it is.
I am calling both Wisconsin DNR Park Services and Kenosha County Park Services to get all the information i need to secure a location and what it all entails. So please be patient with me. Both locations require a reservation, so the date may change if the location isn't available for reservation on June 14th.
As for cost, i am charging $10 a person. This will help with the costs of reserving the location, and food to feed all that are attending. I know it seems a little steep, but i have held meets before and paid over $150 out of my own pocket for food and reservations. Any extra funds that i happen to be left over will be used for future events.
So with all that said, i need people to make suggestions on food and drink for the meet. I am thinking Brats and Hot Dogs, but open for suggestions! If you're interested please say so!
Thanks,
Jake Kaminskis

Yes if you read what i have posted. I am charging $10 per person to cover reservation fees as well as food costs. This will be a meet where food is provided and food costs money.
For the last couple of meets i have held for the EP3 guys in the area. I have spent over $150 out of pocket for each meet to feed everyone. So i figure $5 for food and $5 to help reserve the location is a fair deal.
Of course i am taking suggestions on what should be served at the meet!

It's going to be a Wisconsin/Illinois K Series meet. Next year i'll be planning one bigger, which may call for a more central location.
