car wont start any more wen the power side of batter touched the intake, need some info on wat that

i have a 91 crx si, its got a few mods but thats not wat i need help wit. the power side of the battery is about a few cm apart from my intake, and they happen to touch and now the car wont start anymore. and i want to know wat the problem may be? if so please help a brother out.. it sounds like it wants to turn on but it wont? like if it needs gas but it has alot, it sounds like that.. help
