Default Eibach Helper springs: Size for GC-Koni setup and anything else needed?

Ok
i am running the typical GC and Koni setup in my crx..

now the rear has a couple of inches of play for the spring and the seat when the car is off the ground.. so i am looking for a helper spring to keep it all in place..

Now there are eibach helper springs in 2.25inch and 2.50 inch.. Which one is needed?

And do i need anything else, like a ring or something, or does the helper just sit between the seat and the spring without anything else between them?

You need 2.5" inner diameter helper springs, and you will need spring couplers for 2.5" inner diameter springs. The spring coupler fits between the helper spring and the main spring to keep them separated.

Which is exactly why most of us just let the springs "hang free" at full droop. However, if you have a rear swaybar, you'll never see the springs loose unless the entire rear axle leaves the pavement, at which point you probably have bigger concerns than how well your rear springs are seated.

I'm guessing tunerNOOB is a RWD boy... CRX has independent rear suspension, so the effects will not be as extreme as on a live rear axle setup.. but his point, I imagine, is that for you to unseat your springs when they have only a cm or 2 of play at full droop, you would have to be in a pretty extreme driving situation and the spring play won't really be the foremost of your concerns...

It would be a nice way to polish off the package.. but I dunno if it's worth it?
