Took the car to the track on Sunday. Track wasnt hooking well. Temp was cool for once and had a slight tail wind. Only change was the dual walbro pump setup(NO POWER BUT A LITTLE PEACE OF MIND). On my last pass I tried to turn up the boost from 25 to 27 psi and the clutch started to slip. Not bad for a CM FX300 !!!! Ill be installing a new clutch and adding some boost and looking for that 9sec pass. This car has treated me so well. I drive it 50min each way to the track. Not bad for a mostly stock build except rods and pistons . Im even on stock axles:up:

awesome passes. I cant believe the clutch held up to that at all

 

good runs how much power are you making? I would guess 500 ish

 

This is close to the same boost as I run 3rd and 4th gear.

hey man, its Randy out in Tampa. Give x a call at Brotherz racing, they have a competion clutch twin disk in stock for a k. then she'll be ready for as much boost as you want, lol!!

What were you shifting at ?
By watching the video, it sounds like you should be revving it higher

 

just bought a new cluch and a set of MT 24.5x9x13 to help. I was shifting at 8000 rpm.

Looks like your shifting out of 1st before the 60ft box. What's your Final and First gear ratios? and can you ring it out to 85-8800?
