last night driving home from work my light came on and i took it up to the shop today where they put on my e/h/i at and they checked the bolts and for anything loose, they ran it through the computer and the light still wouldnt go away after the test anyone got ne ideas on why the lights on

i got a magnaflow cat on it

 

use a defouler mod if you dont have one. i have no CEL but when i modified my SRI i had one from the change in velocity.

yea if you want to i ordered mine off ebay. only thing ill buy off ebay. it was like 20 bucks and got it next day. get the one peice or if you have the BCRH or the Hytech or vibrant **** then you need

ok ill look at it, so thats why the light just came on last night after having the parts on for a month or so

did you have to hack up the header? or the exhaust? how does that work?

 

dude im not suer why it came on after a month of having it. i had my intake on and it was fine for about 3 months then i moded it fine for a month then all of a sudden i started to run real rich so it through the CEL.

 

yea i got the dcrh i cut a peice of the exhaust pipe and put the cat in there so i didnt have to touch the header. guess ill have to order a 02 sensor and try that out if that dont work ill have to take it to honda and see what they say

 

so you dont hvae a o2 sensor in the cat bunge right now?? if not then thats the problem.

 

i got one in there unless they took it out and never told me, if i didnt why would it take a month or so before the light came on

 

well maybe b/c of your cat you were getting some kinof reading. i have no idea though. jack the car up and see if there is two sensors if so then get a defouler mod and your good to go.

few post up from this i wrote 2 places were you cna get one. and im not full sure how the warrenty works but if you have problems with the car they ahve to prove that the bolt ons caused the problem btu if you dont have a o2 sensor i would go back to who ever did your car ot installed the header.

 

ok i found the post, the guy that installed my header said the o2 was there so idk

the honda shop was trying to tell me i didnt have a catalyst converter on it, and i just read that i need to move my secondary 02 sensor after my cat then itll be just fine so everythings good now
