Default Replacing Chassis and engine harness in a 1991 std hatch

I want to replace my chassis and engine harness in my 1991 civic std with a chassis and engine harness from a obd-0 mpfi car. My car is mpfi right now but the previous owned really chopped up both engine and chassis harnesse so i am having a ground issue somewhere.

I read that the only harness to use would be a 90-91 civic si chassis harness. would a crx harness work also in a hatch or are they different?

Thanks in advance

Yah use one from a hatch. The crx is a little shorter. you could use one from 88-89 hatch also but you would have to re-pin some things. It would be much easier to use a 90-91 harness as you said. Also, make sure you get the dash harness that goes with the rest of the mpfi chassis harness.
