So Im driving down the highway yesterday and my engine falls on its face. First I thought I couldve slipped time, but notice the check engine light came on. I pulled over and pulled to carpet down to reveal code 8(also throwing 7,14,16 previously and now). The car barely runs and cuts out upon acceleration. I know code 8 is tdc and I need to replace the dizzy(possibly). My question is...should I buy a honda dizzy or are the aftermarket ones fine? Also, any chance this could lead to the other codes and my fluctuating idle problem? Thanks in advance for any advice/comments...
