Default p73 ecu in my ek

ok guys i just did my gsr swap and i am using a p73 ecu thats integra type r ecu for some reason when i am driving my car it feels like the timiing is retarded on it the car feels major sluggish but when it hits past 3 thousand it feels easys but when i swiched ecu to a jdm b18c ecu it ran just fine could the timing needed to be advance since the type r's have more aggressive cams and cam gears
