i have a 97 honda prelude (tiptronic transmission), and i had some colored gauges i wanted to put on, and when i was putting them on my gauges, my RPM needle popped out and when i put it backkk it gets stuck when i rev, what do i do????????????

 

honestly, the easiest fix may be to get another one man. you're not supposed to mess with those things. Very sensitive, sounds like you may have it pushed on too far.

Now you probably need a whole new cluster.

Whats/where is it getting stuck on though?

heh, my odometer stopped flipping (was stuck at the decimal (white box) when it rolled between 0 and 9. So I pulled off the screen, took a squirt of silicon based lubricant right at the roller LOL, and forced the dial to rotate using a pin, and its never got stuck again.

Your cluster might be salvageable, we just need to find what your needle is getting stuck on. Hopefully its not the actual guage internals that are messed up though or than its deffinitly time for a new (used) cluster.
