Are your 92-95 Civics loud?
I just want to say my DX hatch has a lot of road noise. It feels like it has no noise suppression at all. Are your cars like this?
Has anyone attempted to quiet proof their Hondas, or is mine the only unluxury one?

a good way to fight road noise is to gather a bunch of packing "peanuts" (in shopping bags) or the ready pack foam blocks, and fill the spaces between your interior trim, and sheet metal of the car. For example, remove all of the plastic interior parts from the back of the car, and stuff all of the hollow spaces that you can find with the foam. It worked wonders on my teg!

I've thought about doing this, with actual foam, not peanuts. I've seen some guys try it and they said it worked.
I have a cat on it. It's not the exhaust that seems loud, just everything on the road. It just has a lot of road noise.

is that a CRV engine?!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not that nice yet.. but getting there. I even have tha crappy CRV exh mani... then it goes to an even smaller OEM VX exhaust.
I am going with a 2.5 piping and a Vibrant muffler. I imagine it will be loud so I am going to try and work a silencer in there somewhere

Yea, I hear my tires and such. I just want a good way to quiet it down so I don't have to hear them. Anyone tried foam besides the guy with packing peanuts, which I would imagine would make more sound b/c of the bags they are in LOL.
