OBD0 2 OBD1 Distributor bolt up problem

Default OBD0 2 OBD1 Distributor bolt up problem

I have a 90 crx hf with a D16A6 motor in it and I am converting to OBD1 for better tunning options I have swaped everything else but the dizzy becuase it wont bolt up all the way, one leg is off in the middle of nowhere. What do I do? Please help.

dont use that leg, just use 2 bolts

does it have to line up a sertin way ? Or does it just go on any witch way?

try a 93 civic non vtec dizzy the y8 head fits the a6 dizzy and u only need to move one plug a head so what im thinking u can use a obd1 dizzy off a d15b7 or b8

I have a OBD1 Non vtec dizzy, but it doesnt fit properly.

i always just take out my dremel and make the hole bigger on the top leg or u could cut the leg off just below the bolt hole and use a washer to secure it. as far as where it should be, just leave it loose enough to move back and fourth and start the car, then move it to where the car seems to run the best, tighten the bolt up, and go for a test drive. if its too far advanced then u will get very bad low end, possibly even a bit of a studder, but good top end, and oposite for too far retarded. so just play around with it until u get find the middle of the road where both low end and high end run smoothly.
