Insurance Questions
I was wondering if there was anyway to get a type of insurance on a car that is used rarely, and track time. I don't have a tow vehicle, and am looking to get another form of daily transportation to save gas and insurance. So I would want to lower prices. Say insurance with limited road miles or something? The car is just a Miata so it's not special, I think some companies offer it on exotic cars? Any input?

You may be able to get lower rates for a car that is rarely used, but it probably won't cover you for track incidents.

Most insurance Companies have something against autox/HPDE in that fine print. I know mine does.

youd be best off going with a non standard insurance company such as bristol west for special coverage.
I know my neighbor has some old hot rods insured with them that are rarely driven.
read your policy to see where coverage applies
