Will Acetone Mess Up Carbon Fiber???

Default Will Acetone Mess Up Carbon Fiber???

i have a little over spray of paint on the duck bill and i was wondering if acetone mess it up... Should i juss try the rubbing alcohol?

fine grit sand paper and the lay down some new clear coat. it should look brand new.

i have the fun pleasure of working with carbon all day long... acetone will mess up dry carbon but since there is a clear on top of the carbon the acetone is gonna damage the clear and not the carbon... try some rubbing compound of nu-finish to see if you can get the over spray off... depending on how much there really is... if it doesnt then i would say wet sand with 1000 or 1500 grit sand paper and go from there with the clear... wet sand the whole duck bill though just dont re-clear that over spray spots

its not really over spray its like how should i say it if u spray paint in the air and 5 feet in front it barely hits so its like a bunch of little dots but thanx guys

Use a clay bar. No damage, no problems. Just results.
