arc intake in an 8th gen?

Default arc intake in an 8th gen?

has anyone tried or succesfully put an ARC chamber in a 8th gen civic? i know the EP guys succesfully fitted rsx arc intakes. im thinking of giving it a try but i want to see if anyone has failed at it to save some money

im not shure what chasis these pictures are, if owner wants their picture taken down just pm me.

Take a look at the angle of the throttle body on your Si. Then take a look again at the RSX/EP factory airbox setup or even the pics you posted of the ARC intake. The way the intake arm meets the throttle body is different. You might be able to swing getting the airbox portion to fit, but I doubt the hard elbow/intake tube of the ARC piece will work.

I could be wrong though.

those pics are of either rsx or ep3. not 8th gen civics.

exactly, which is why he's asking "if EP3 guys can use the RSX intake, can 8th gens?"

he's showing examples of the EPs using RSX intakes as a reference point for his question.

OP, in addition to the angle of the throttle body/IM the lack of a MAF sensor is probably your biggest obstacle. I can't believe I forgot about the MAF in my other post. on me
