my hood is dented. I want a new one but don't know where i can get it. at acura dealership? would it be cheaper to buy a new hood or get it fixed. dents aren't too bad but could be seen. Also do you guys know if the warranty will covers my cracked interior door?(the top plastic part by the lock)

a CF hood wouldnt look that great on a BOM RSX though. Maybe if he got one and got it repainted to match his car.

You probably wouldn't notice this without looking very closely but buying a prepainted hood, even with the same exact color code will not match your paint perfectly. There are too many other factors to how your paint looks: evelation, humidity, spray volume, spray techique, drying time, etc. You can tell that some new cars' body parts were painted at different times/locations when you look where the body panels meet.

I'd get a used hood and have it matched and painted by a good body shop. Or... as much as I hate CF, get a CF hood in the meantime.

700 + tax and then paint plus tax... its nearly damn close id say.

like again either oem used then get it blended or a cf.. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Pat_S &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

How did you dent your car in the first place?

My hood got the most random dent, I was standing next to my car in a parking lot when a bone (yes an actual bone: a vertebrae of something) fell straight down out of the sky and landed smack dab on my hood. My friend and I looked around and nobody was even near us and there were no birds in the sky hmm, still confused to this day.

why do you want a new one??

unless your parents are rich, you say its your first car so more than likely you are paying payments, so you should have full coverage so just file it under insurance.

thats what i did
