I have a 96 civic DX. one night i was getting pretty low on gas, i parked in my garage and everything seemed fine. in the morning my car wouldn't start. I got a diagnostic at a place im now not sure if i should trust, they said i needed a new distributor, cap, plugs, etc. i first tried a new ignition coil and cap and rotor. then i tried another distributor (used) and swapped the coil, then swapped the igniter as well. still no good. so i just got a new distributor off ebay and guess what, no luck there either. for the love of god someone please tell me what it could be. i do believe it gets fuel pressure. i have not switched the plugs out yet. i did test one of the plugs on the engine block adnd it doesnt seem to be sparking to well. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

is the cel still on. if so take it to a reputable mechanic and get them to check it.
