If you wanted louder you should have just gotten muffler. The Hyper Medallion is quiet, i used to have it on my old 00 civic Si and i loved that exhaust. But yeah to make it a little louder get a header and even a high flow cat.

dont hack up your exhaust... its just a waste of money. if you wanted a louder exhaust you should've researched first before you bought the tanabe. the hyper medallion is a very quiet exhaust. if you want it louder, sell your tanabe and buy another exhaust

You will love that it is not that loud after a road trip. I believe just as long as it is deep and low pitched that is all that matters.(you dont want a rice sound)...sorry thats just what I think.

But I perfer as quiet as possible. Our cars are almost silent stock, but if I could find an exhuast that was even more silent then stock I would get it....I'm going for the hybrid electric motor silent

He only has one. Buying multiples wouldn't help him.

I believe everyone is referring to the resonator on the tanabe not the stock resonator.

IMO, loud exhaust is simply annoying. I don't see the point in having an exhaust that screams "Look at me! Look at me! My car's loud and slow!!" It'd be a different story if your car was actually fast.

I had a couple noisey exhaust kits and I hated them. Switched to the Apex'i WS2 and never looked back! Lovin' it!

eh, a header will make some what of a difference how much on a Tanabe IDK, but you could try. My Skunk 2 was pretty deep and much cheaper than the Tanabe unit, I got the whole cat back system for 350$ shipped to my door. Just get a Megan racing header and see what happens, if it gets deeper cool, if not sell the Tanabe and get a new system.

It's header no s

Headers = plural

Set = plural

There's only one head, one set of exhaust ports, one header.

Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

is it really that big of a deal?

a lot of people say headers when referring to them, it doesnt mean your going to get like 5-6 headers for your car.

It's not that big of a deal, really. It's just that it gives people the impression that he has a V-engine... which is a bit of a farce.

How many headers would you suggest buying?
My friend got some headers from ebay and they only sent him 3!
