my bro has a 96 accord lx auto and has a check engine light that I dont kno the code to but the car will randomly idle very rough almost like Its gonna stall but rpms r a normal 800 and car shakes really bad when u step on the gas and has little acceleration and then the car runs perfectly fine after about 2000 rpm. I donno wats going on. If u need more details jus ask me cause I donno wat else u guys need. Please help quickly.

 

you're going to get a lot of different responses. take the car somewhere and have the code read, many parts stores do it for free. this will save all of the guess work.

 

Go to Autozone and have them pull the code.

 

Is the car running Lean, Rich? Is cable tension on accelerator that run to throttle body ok ? and also Advanced Auto parts does code check i wrk there! Boo auto zone lol.
