Default AEM Tru power pulleys

Does anyone have these installed? I'm asking because i would like to know if they effect the drive comfort of your car. I currently have innovative motor mounts on my DC5 so I'm used to a little vibration but i don't want to increase it. Also and most importantly, is it worth it? Thanks!

No, they don't affect interior vibrations.

However, they are a lot of work to install for only 2-3 HP.

The best kit is the Unorthodox full pulley kit.

I wouldn't get them if they are different sizes than stock (underdrive). If they are lightened, I don't see how they could harm your engine.

And yeah, it's a pain to install them. Too bad you didn't do it with your mounts.

as far as installation goes, yeah, they are a bit of a head ache, but it only takes about 1 - 2 hrs to put them on.

as far as the reliability factor, ive never had a single issue with the motor and ive had them for 4 years + now.

and engine vibrations that you can feel inside the interior, not so much. if you feel any excessive engine vibrations just from swapping pulleys, then you did something wrong, or they werent ballanced from the manufacute and should be sent back as defective. lol

Had em on my H22. Acceleration improved a little, other than that there was no noticeable diffrence. The AEM alt pulley caused my alternator to under charge. So make sure you dont have a sound system. (all I had was 1 amp and1 woofer ..) Had em for about 4-5 years.

I heard about that also, but wasn't quite sure if it was true or not.

it shouldn't shorten your engine life, but your accessories can suffer

I have just the power steering pulley on my Integra, and I LOVE the fact that it increased the steering weight. I felt no difference in acceleration or vibrations.

when you say it increased the steering weight, do you mean its just harder to steer?
