Has anyone on this board ever really IMPORTED a R before straight from japan?? I know that some states have all these emission laws (cali, etc.) but my area just don't care(people with straight pipe everywhere).

I've calculate yen to dollar and the price is like $15000 for a 2000 with 10km on it. How much would tariff and custom paper work cost. I know shipping is really expensive but I really want a REAL 100% authentic JDM ITR.

for everything it will probably cost you around 30000 for them to do everything to make it legal (emmisions )etc and you would also have to find an importer and everything. if i had the money i would do it plus insurance would probably be through the roof . If you have the funds do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
