is it true that for daily driving it get dirty quickly and easly? how do you clean it?????????????

just get some grease cleaner, or engine cleaner (meguire's sp?)

i would imagine it gets just as dirty as any valve cover, but being red you can see it more. just go to autozone or something and pick up some heavy grease cleaner, im sure it'll take all that crap right off.

 

will grease cleaner damage the red valve cover or peal it at all

 

I had 2 jdm itr valve covers one cut one un-cut. I had to paint one because the Meguiar's faded it so bad. Yes they do get dirty fast but there are lots of people that get them clean with no problems. But not me mine always looked like ****

The other I sold because of the bling factor. I was a Speed World here in AZ and this group of about ten teenagers cam running up to my car as soon as I pulled off the strip and into the pit and popped my hood and started to trip because I had a type r motor in my car ( I don't ) and thats when I realized that it was a tad bit to flashy for me.

I have heard water and dishsoap works good. Or just highpressure water.

Aircraft remover works great. When you're done, the color is completely gone and it's all bare metal. Then it's extra dope.
