HFP suspension and warranty
I'm starting to hear a clunking noise every time I hit a bump or a dip in the road, and I'm guessing it's the HFP suspension I put in a while ago. This is the first noise I've heard coming from them.
I remember reading a while ago from Type X that you got a warranty on these regardless of whether or not Honda installed it. Where can I find this info at? I want to bring it in to my dealership to get it looked at, but if I tell them I did it myself I will raise some doubts and they'll most likely charge me for it

The warranty is 12 months from the date of purchase. You only need your receipt showing the date of purchase. The warranty doesnt cover any labor involved, just the parts.
And you have to bring he parts back to the entity you bought them for. I resell Honda parts and for the customer to have a warranty I have to have the vehicles VIN and mileage. Think about it, why would a business trouble shoot parts they didn't sell you or install?
It would be like you bringing in your car to a shop that sold you the parts but didn't install them and you asking them to take a look at the car. Had you had the dealer install the parts tha would be a different story.

Uh.. probably for the same reason you can buy a car from Dealership A and have it worked on at Dealership B.
