Are 6th gen V6 comptech headers worth 1g?

Are 6th gen V6 comptech headers worth 1g?
My friend has a V6 and was wondering if it was worth it. They cost a freaking $1000. But are the gains worth it for that cost? He certainly doesnt want to be wasting that much. Or should he invest elsewhere?

is the $1000 worth it to get that extra 20 HP? there are plenty of other things you can do that get you more HP on the same amount of $$$ CAI for example True dual exhaust, better cams etc......

Its not worth it, but than again, what is it worth it for any car? Our cars are very heavy, so weight reduction is smarter.

First off, Comptech CLAIMS they give you 20hp. But in reality it will be more like less than 10whp. And no, thats not worth a $1000 plus the biatch of installing V-headers. Might as well get a turbo.

Does OBX make headers for the Accord V6?
Secondly THe comptech headers do make 24 extra peak hp to the wheels as shown on the dyno and an extra 34hp to the wheels at redline.
