Default wat ecu

wat ecu is my f22b1 running and wat tuning chips can i run in that ecu?

should i convert to obd1 if i want to boost?

I believe mine which is a 96 EX 5spd is a P0H

It should be an OBD2 POH and there aren't any programmable chips for it. If your looking to get into tuning your car your options are as follows:
#1. AEM EMS or any other type of stand alone Engine management system. These are the most expensive but also the most expandable.
#2. Chip an OBD1 ECU with Hondata or Neptune hardware/chip sets.
#3. Chip an OBD1 ECU with an EEPROM chip kit and tune with a Honda ROM editor such as Crome or Uberdata.

#3 is the least expensive road to travel but not as many functions as the #1&2 options. Most folks running a moderately built N/A or boosted Daily Driver don't really need much more than a EEPROM chipped ECU and Crome/Uberdata with a good tune.

That's just my $0.02.

so i would convert back to obd1 with a jumper harrnes then wat ecu would i buy and wat kinda chips would i most likey run in to easily to tune this new ecu

Check out the Xenocron website. There is a lot of information there. From DIY tutorials to ready to install complete starter kits. They have everything that you would want for chipping and tuning an OBD1 ECU for an OBD2 vehicle.
