Default Please help, car will not start, good battery DD

98 cx d16y7 on boost DD. I have been driving it for 2 years now(a year on boost) with no starting problems. It started fine an hour before this problem.

tested the battery, it is good, checked couple big ground wires and they are good. lights work, radio works, brights work.

It is makeing this little clicking noise right around the fuse box area when the car its self is on(not the motor). please help as this is my only car and my DD. thanks in advanced.

also me and my little brother just got it started by rolling it and popping it into gear.

It will not start with jumper cables and a battery or a car.

So do you hear the starter spining? Did you try starting the car via jumping the starter and not the battery?

no it does not spin. how do you jump the starter? nothing cranks or spins you just hear the cliking noise near the fuse box and the fuel being primed and that is it.

Well, I have done it on other cars and my friend does it on his CRX in order to bypass the messes up ignition. He uses a 4-ga power wire cable and touches the + battery terminal with something on his starter. Basically it's the location where the power would normally get fed to. Give that a try! It'll narrow down exactly what is wrong. Might be wiring or a relay of some sort.

that didnt do anything besides fry my jumper cables. Me and my tuner just recently swaped trannies and he said something about a clutch relay something. if any one else could help that would be great.

problem solved!!! yesssss. it was the smaller of the 2 wires that go to the starter

the smaller wire that goes to the starter, the fitting on the end of that had broke off from the wire. thank you sewell94
