Having Ac in ef sedan with d16z6 swap.
Any body succesfuly running ac with z6 in their car? I know a lot of people here swap to z6. If you're running ac, what bracket and compressor did you use? I tried ro use di5b2 compressor on pm5 bracket on z6 block, it doesn't work. I hope somebody can help me. I heard somewhere that says you can use a6 compressor and bracket on z6 block. I don't have any a6 engine in junkyard around my area. Looks like alot of people don't use ac when they do swaps. It will get real hot in summer . Weigh savings and power robbing stuff are less important compare to comfort for me.
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks man. I went to junkyard and picked bracket from 89 lx. It works. I had z6 bracket and d15 compressor. That's why it didn't work. Looking from your picture my bracket don't have hole in the middle like yours, its full solid chunk of steel. Yours might save some weight. Wanna trade?

Well I'm confused a bit since the '89 lx also runs a d15 just like my '89 Dx crx does (same exact motor). You must not have been using the bracket you thought you were otherwise your saying "I had to take of my D15 bracket and replace it with a D15 bracket" so yeah something got mixed up on your end with parts.
