Default b16 block gsr head swap

hey guys rite now i got a 1999 hond civic ex with the d16y8 and im getting sick of how slow this sh** is so my friend that i trust wants to sell me a b16 block that has upgraded pistons and rods and is also sleeved with a gsr head that has type r cams and a gsr tranny. he wants like 2000 but im gonna see if i can pick it up for 1800..

my first question is do u think this is a good deal? and how much hp u think this wil make?

also what will i ned to get this swap in my civic? i kno i will need nes engine mounts and axels. but wat else?

I don't think you will be as happy with this swap as a regular b18c swap. You still only have 1.6L of displacement, same as your Y8. Before 5000rpm they will feel the same.

Personally, I think B16s are useless without boost.
