I'm not sure this is the right section or not but I've been looking at CRXs for sale for a very long time and just within the past 2 days I've seen this twice now. CRXs that are waaaaay too cheap but since I've seen just about every CRX that is for sale on the web I remember them.

They're the same car. So these bastards are scamming big time these days. I guess this may be old news to you guy but damn, this is [freak]ed up. 2 bad *** rexs in 2 days with the same scam going.

Good eye, I couldn't figure out how to actually report the offender on CL so I just flagged it as spam. I also notified the original seller.

 

I sent whoever it was on Craigslist a message about meeting up,I'll make sure to meet the person with the local law enforcement.

Sure. They were posting those cars in the working links saying that they were here in Chicago and the cars were going for waaaay cheap. Since I've been looking around on the web for quite some time I've become quite familiar with just about all the CRXs that are for sale VIA the internet. So...when I see one and it looks familiar I investigate. I've seen 3 different CRXs on Craigslist for Chicagoland that are cars from out of the state! Not to mention they're claiming to sell the cars for a really good deal and what not. I guess they're having you meet up with them in cash to purchase the car and then they just rob you of your money. The reason they're no longer showing is because I've been reporting them or flagging them as prohibited

 

ahh i see. I hope nobody got jacked by them. If anyone has got in contact with them on here, please let us know! I just heard the other day that somebody got beat up and car-jacked after posting his car on craigslist... try bringing a friend with you for these kinds of things. its sickening to hear crap like this happening.

Ch3mik, I pretended to be interested in all of them. The person doing it never responded.

 

normally those scamers never meet you in person, they require some sort of money transfer via a fake bank or some other way.
There is no way that anyone would be stupid enough to try and sell something they don't have IN PERSON. (but then again there are som stupid people)
