Default Aircon Hose B18c1-EG

Hey guys & girls,
I am about to sell my car and i just need some quick info...
I have a 94 Civic sedan, with a B18c1, and i need the top aircon hose:
I was wondering if ALL B Series parts are the same, or do i have to find a certain one?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Christian

It's not really that "all b series parts are the same". More along the lines of what car the engine sits in to figure out what parts you'd need. That said did they have the Civic SiR in Australia?

that hose is referred to as the compressor discharge hose and to my knowledge it is the same on all of that chassis. the dealer by me sells it for $98 there should be a part number on the old one you can just say to the dealer, i want this [xxxxxxxxxxx] hose please. there you go. good luck

Thanks alot guys,
Nahh we dont have the civic SiR here thats why theres not too much knowledge on little issues like this, and i dont have the old hose to get part numbers off either.
Maye if someone could get the correct part number someone over there could order it for me and send it over?

I have a b18c1 in my 95 hatch and I still have the hose from when I was running AC

I can see if there is a part number on it... or ship it even. However, last time I looked into shipping something, the FedEx site was giving me some crazy high shipping costs... and I have shipped stuff home from NZ so I don't think they were correct.

If yo uwant I can run to FedEx and see what they say in person?

Honestly, I don't remember which hose it was from it was like 8 years ago and I didn't know much about cars then.

I'll run to FedEx - but in the meantime lemme take a picture of the one that I used, and a known one from an integra LS of the same generation.

Quick question, what brackets did you use to retain P/S and A/C? Thanks!

hey - I went to FedEx and spoke with the guy there who helps me with all of my shipping... I gave him a dummy Sydney zip code, and used the dimensions from one of their small boxes with ~0.75kg ...... The cost was $75US

what engine was originally in the car? if it was a b-series then use ur stock lines. if you need a new one go to a junkyard and salvage one. if it was a d-series retain ur stock compressor and use a cr-v bracket p54 or a dual cam del sol bracket.

it orignally had a D16y1 motor and now has a b18c1, seeing as this motor is an import, i have no idea what aircon hose ill need, and we never got any EG's in Australia with factory B series motors, thats why im confused lol
