Sprint Coilover sleeves? How do these install?

I traded my 16" Mercedes rims for these sleeves except I dont know how they work! I installed some Progress lowering springs onto my EK last night and its beautiful. Except the Progress springs are about 4" bigger then these springs!
In the box came 8 springs and 4 of those cylinder objects.
My brother has sleeves on his EF and they work decent, but how do they install? same as coilovers?
Im sure these will install on EG-EK but they will be installed on a-

8 springs? but cars only have 4 wheels
the rubber rings go over your shocks, the sleeves slide over the shock(the rings fill in the space between the shock and the sleeve) and the spring sits on top. spin the perch up and down to adjust the height and tighten the allen bolt to lock it in place. dunno why there's 8 springs. different rates maybe?
