Default H22 Swap, Into 98' Civic Coupe

H22A
2.2l DOHC 200hp w/hydro trans, includes ECU
VTEC

$2450

does this seem like a good price? for a 98 coupe, is this a very tedious task? I recently came into a sum of money, and I want..PURE, straight-line power...
will i need axles, or anything else?

let me know!
thanks,
mike

p.s. since it comes with the ECU, i don't need to do ANY rewiring do I?

axles really dont matter but you gotta get them modified to fit..I think you gotta use Ls axles if im correct..also you should buy the hasport mounts if they came out yet..if not only hcp or place got the mounts you need...Oh btw if you dont work at a dealership I recommend you getting performance axles cause stock ones tend to snap a lot.

Can you explain why? I used the HASport mount kit for my Integra with H22 and never had any problems...it sat in the perfect position....do you have any reasoning why hasport is "" for an H22 swap?

I want to put an h22 in my eg hatch. Everything seems simple,but the installing and running the shifter cables and mounting the shifter itself. I want to know how does this all have to be installed and if there is any cutting involved and to what. If I ever want to put back a b series motor in my car how hard would that be? If it will be hard what can I do that will make it easy in case I don't like the h22 for some reason?

The HCP kit requires the tranny mount be cut on one of the sides, does this interfear with ever putting the b series motor back in. On an image I saw it looks like it interfearded with the original mounting hole for the b series tranny bracket. Does it?

How about place racing and hasport mount kit, do they require u to cut that mount bracket?

Also I have heard place racing has a shifter box to prevent any cutting for mounting the cables, will this work with any mount kit?

Please someone let me know what I can do?
