Default rotor problem

so im in the process of changing plugs, wires, rotor and cap. i have come to a problem. my chiltons says the rotor will just pull off but ive tried and its pretty snug on there. i found the little screw and i was going to try to unscrew it but it is stripped from the idiot before me. is there anyway to yank it off or is there a good method to unscrew the stripped screw? thanks in advance

sam

I would take the dizzy off to get a better angle at it , at worst cut a new slot in it with a dremel and get it out with a flathead

take the distributor off put it in a vise. then find some left handed drill bits and start drillin, the screw should come out within a few seconds. or if ur really good just use regular drill bits and start small and work ur way up to the screw size. i have had to do this several times.
