VW Guys Help
I own 2 corrados which ride on Bilstein suspension. If you've ridden in a VW with Bilstein's you know what I'm talking about, STIFF and INCREDIBLE handling.
I just bought a 92 Civic Si HB. While its a street vehicle, I want to set it up for road racing. What would be comparable in a Honda. My budget is around 800 dollars for suspension.

Koni part #1150-5006-1 http://www.koni.com/_cars/_suspensio.../hond_144.html
pretty much what he said
another, very similar option is to get the "plain" koni yellows, and add a Ground control adjustable spring perch kit (comes with the springs)
Konis: ~$500
GC: ~$350
Gound Control has a VERY wide selection of Eibach ERS springs to choose from, and some very knowldegeable people to help you chose the right spring rate.
I do not know what options you have for spring rates if you get the Koni kit...
Just keep in mind that the konis will not handle much more than 500lb springs on their stock valving. So if you want stiffer springs, you should probably get a different, better and more $$$ damper.
one more note about the Konis, when you adjust them all the way stiff, you need to actually NOT set the adjustable **** all the way to the stops, as this may damage the shock and cause premature failure. All the way stiff means the **** all the way to the stops, and then back it out a little bit. (Per Koni's documentation, although several people have overlooked that fact, some resulting in blown shocks...)

If you are going with that generation Si, you might want to take a look at...

Your new ride is classified by the SCCA in Improved Touring S, in which it will get its butt handed to it by BMW e36 325s. There are a group of people out there who understand how cool cars like this can be (and how economical, by comparison) and we would love to recognize your effort to do so.
Best,
Kirk

I am waiting for my friend to return from Europe. I will be installing Koni yellows with the GC sleeves as well as some other parts.
I will post the results when they are done.

I know but some tall autox dude said I had to deal with my shitty tires for a year before I could move to some nice stuff. Maybe I should run the Falkens on the street and switch to the costcos for the track?
