This has been covered before.

But anyway.

APEX'i World sport. I've always liked it. It's real real quiet. I just bought one for my DD EM1. It sounds just like my friend's 06 Si. My stock exhaust S2000 sounds louder than my EM1 now.

My EM1 came with some N1 replica exhaust that was too loud for me even with the silencer in.

RS*R makes a nice quiet exhaust that gives better performance but looks almost OEM. Sounds great also. The priciest though...

Apex'i World Sport II's are nice and quiet but are shiny. And they sound good once you are getting in it.

My car is running custom 2 1/4" inch mandrel bent piping to a Type R muffler and its the loudest out of the three I have listed and I have a 2 1/4" resonator also, it has the most 'growl' out of the three when in it I've been told and it sounds great WOT and cruising.

People will joke about OBX twin loop, etc. But it's the "best" muffler you can buy IMO if you want it "quiet." I had it on my old 97 Civic, it was the best $$$ spent. Not just in value but sound. Again, if you use the word "quiet", then this is for you. Most people never seen it, so it's still a good converstaion piece. My exhaust set up was all OEM except the OBX muffler. It sounds funny for me to say this, don't get any other knock off twin loop muffler. The others are garbage in constuction and sound. OBX is the best (when comes to Mugen knock off).

I also would recommend WS2 cat back (I had that in my Sentra SER). But it's a cat back so it cost a lot more.

If I have a Civic/Integra again, and did not want to go full cat back, I would buy OBX twin loop again.

my friend had a no name twin loop it was raspy as ****, i would say the WS2 as well is the best choice, and is not that expensive. otherwise custom exhaust with new oem style muffler will be great, i have a 2.25 b pipe with oem axle back and its so quiet and doesnt feel backed up or anything, car feels the same just quiet

If you want to keep it as cheap as possible, I would just go with a Honda OEM muffler (GSR, 2006+ SI, etc) with custom piping. It would give you a pretty good sound that's not loud/raspy at all, cosidering they're only OEM mufflers.

Apex-I Noir, WS-II, and RSR EXMAG are good and quiet. All three are good looking as well.

Apex'i WSII, GReddy SP2 or RS*R Exmag. That's what I came up with off the top of my head.

what if sound was not a factor, meaning how loud it was as long as it wasn't raspy, what would be the best performing for a b18 na?

It would all depend on the muffler you get, straight pipe? test pipe? hi flow cat? and headers?

My exhaust like I mentioned before is not loud at all. I am on a z6 motor with cold air intake, dc stainless steel headers, and a high flow cat. To me and some of my friends it only sounds like i got a intake

What's a good place to buy WS II for a good price? I'll probably just get muffler only or do they call come catback?
