Anybody ever put a Katzkin custom leather interior in their Integra? Since I have no concept of saving right now, I found a Katzkin group buy - $650 for the whole deal. That doesn't sound too bad for a two-tone high-quality leather interior, eh? I've seen such setups in VWs and they look VERY nice... any Acuras out there?

And don't tell me to spend my money on a JDM seat instead!

generally, on honda tech, you're not goingo to find many people who like leather seats.. but what do you want to know about katzkin? i know someone with it.. it's very nice.

 

katzkin is really nice and IMO better leather than the stock leather seats. My friend had his whole interior done in katzkin (front, back, door panels, and center console). It was oh so nice to sit in.
About the price, $650 isn't bad but see if that includes the door panels too.

 

anyone have pictures? I just have the stock leathers.. I doubt i'd spend $650 on a new interior..but I'd still like to see pictures just so I know what it looks like..

Yeah I was just curious how the quality was. The first owner of my car had leather put into my 94 GSR. It is really nice, and much better quality than OEM, but is now pretty old and falling apart from being left in the sun for 8 years. I don't want to buy new seats because my interior is tan, and I think the tan OEM tan leather seats look ugly as hell, both the color and the quality. I would buy some black ones, but I don't want to start re-doing my whole interior black. Also I have a 4-dr, which is harder to find used seats for. I would love to throw down and have it all done up custom w/ perforated leather like in a Lexus IS, but that would be expensive as hell. I know the Katskin seats are reasonably priced, but I don't want my interior to look like it came from Kregan. I am surprised that not many people on this board have had this done, I guess used black leather seats are so easy to come by, that's what people do around here. I would love to use some Type-R seats in the front, but then how do I match the back seats?

 

Anybody installed their Katzkin covers themselves?? For $650 it recovers the front, rear, and door panels... a helluva lot less than puttin some recaros in there and getting door panels and all... I like the way the stock seats feel personally and am just thinkin of goin this route
